Finding London’s Ferns by Henry Miller
www.eventbrite.co.uk
Henry Miller will introduce the native ferns of London and guide us through their history, identification, and conservation.
I have a female pheasant that comes to my garden since Thursday she’s there now a looks a bit lost. We back onto a woods at Sidcup Golf Course and I have never see a pheasant here before.
Most pheasants are probably birds released for shooting, although I don’t know where the nearest shoot is. Let’s hope she will be alright. I once had a male pheasant in my tiny front garden in Selborne Road, Sidcup. We gave each other quite a shock when I opened my front door! Jonathan Rooks
