The soaring, nationally scarce, Marsh Sow-thistle, which reaches 9′ tall, many of which are now self-sown specimens in what is the ninth year since plants grown from seed of the extirpated Crayford Marshes plant were introduced to Thames Road Wetland by Dr. Mark Spencer.
