Plantlife's No Mow May Movement
www.plantlife.org.uk
No Mow May is Plantlife’s annual campaign calling all lawn owners not to mow during May. Let your wildflowers grow this summer.
I have a female pheasant that comes to my garden since Thursday she’s there now a looks a bit lost. We back onto a woods at Sidcup Golf Course and I have never see a pheasant here before.
Most pheasants are probably birds released for shooting, although I don’t know where the nearest shoot is. Let’s hope she will be alright. I once had a male pheasant in my tiny front garden in Selborne Road, Sidcup. We gave each other quite a shock when I opened my front door! Jonathan Rooks
