The news that Ring-necked Parakeets in Bexley had switched from flying out to roost sites at Hither Green Cemetery, Sutcliffe Park or Brockwell Park, to spending the night in Poplars by the lake at Danson Park, was reported on ‘Bexley Wildlife’ in December 2014, with the evidence indicating that the change had happened at some point during that year . Although several counts have been made in the meantime, it is a while since the last one. Ralph Todd provides a November 2020 update, plus lists of other bird species in the park this month.
